Hi,

Has anyone here used a Badong duct for cooling a video card? Im curious if anyone knows if it is likely to reach around the back of the video card and back to the bottom side. Im not sure if I can get it running over the top of the video card (not sure if there's enough space)

Also, is there anyway to mount standard fans onto a video card? Perhaps some sort of heat sink that screws onto a say geforce4 and lets you mount a good ol panaflo 80mm or something of that nature onto the sucker?

Unless you have no other cards under the video card, I don't see how you could put an 80mm fan or a really large duct under the card.

Here's what I did using a slot fan, some plastic, and some compusa acoustic foam. It's running about 1/2 speed using a Zalman controller. Runs very quiet and keeps the AIW 7500 about 34C....temp measured at the card heatsink with a DigitalDoc temp probe.

I put a $5. SVC GC68 aluminum heatsink on my Ti4600 (from SVC.com). It takes an 80mm fan. I had to drill holes in it to match the holes in my video card. It works great. Put a panaflo on there and you'll be in business.
