My friend says that they make two kinds of duct-tape, one that is "normal" and one that is a special grade that is water-proof. Now, unless they altered the design, hasn't duct tape always been water-proof?

So, does a non water-proof duct tape exist?
 
I've seen this crap they try to sell as duct tape, but it's CLEARLY not the same stuff. The proper answer is "real duct-tape is.... Stay away from the wanna-be crap."
