Duct tape allowed?

I need to ship a package out and I have no tape to seal the box. I do have a roll of duct tape. I'll be shipping it via Parcel Post. Will I be allowed to use duct tape to seal the box?

what's parcel post? is that priority mail? if so you can get free priority mail tape at the post office.
