Duchovny on Life With Bonnie

Does that guy just have nothing better to do than appear on third rate sitcoms now? This is why he left X-Files? And WTF is up with that show? It seemed like he and Bonnie were laughing at each other while trying to act, but it came off looking like a practice run or a bad parody.

Hey, my brother-in-law's birthday is this weekend. Think David Duchovny would like to MC it?

Duchovny starred in Bonnie Hunt's big-screen directorial debut (Return to Me), so I'm guessing his appearance is less desperation than a working relationship.

At least he's not just trying to get cameos in all of the sci-fi series out there (Firefly, Haunted, John Doe, etc.)

I happened to see one of those hollywood shows before I watched Life with Bonnie (I think it was Access Hollywood), and they said that the whole scene was unscripted, which is why it looked unpolished, but still pretty funny.

That's the deal with that show, all the "interview" scenes are improv...and in this case funny as hell. I thought it was great.

Anybody who can land Tea Leoni gets my eternal respect. Mmmmm...
