Do want! I've never had the experience of riding a Ducati. I'm not huge on street bikes but I'd like one some day and this one caught my eye. Any experiences with Ducati or this bike in particular?

I mostly ride dirtbikes and they are a blast, so hard to be good at it though. I'd know cause I suck.

it got pretty good reviews. All purpose tourer with superbike power.

It seems like it would be a whole lot more enjoyable and comfortable than a crotch rocket, with the added benefit of having hilarious power.

I like that bike, saw it in person a few times, looks awesome. I'd def consider it for a long distance touring bike, but if I had a choice I'd still probably go with a BMW Sport Touring...

I haven't ridden it but a guy I work with has an older one he has put over 50,000 miles on. He loves that bike, it is light weight, has plenty of power and is fun in the twisties.

Are you looking at new or used bikes? My friend bought his used with 6,500 miles on it. I think it's a 2007 model...red, of course. ;)

If I ever buy a sport tourer this bike would be at the top of my list. I'm a bit of a Ducatisti though.

Well I'm looking at the new model, which came out in model year '10 I believe. I've only really seen one or two used for sale so far, at not much of a discount.

ya, the new ones are selling well. I have only seen a couple on the road, but not many are sitting at the dealer collecting dust. limited supply, slightly-higher-than-limited demand.

Not sure whats not to like.
Power, looks, Italian, Only con would be pricing. But all good things in life cost.

I love me some L-Twin Power, Desmo style.

Fwiw... It seems like people get hurt more often on dirt it's just *usually* not as bad.

Out of my riding friends the worst accidents were on 50's and/or dirt

You are probably more likely to get hurt on dirt. Or you could just die when some SUV slams into you.
