Dubbed or Subbed?

Agreed. Not to mention the natural beauty of language (CTHD, La vita è bella, etc) adds a great deal to the film as well.

all that and also the translation isnt all messed up with subtitles
 
Of we're talking anime, generally subbed. Reason being that I find the voice acting usually to be very poor, plus they often don't really mesh well with the characters .and how they look. Princess Mononoke was an exception, and there's a couple of others.
 
Definitely subbed. Dubs suck because dubbers are not nearly the same quality as the actors/voice actors who originally did it and thus lack the emotion and inflection necessary to do the part and also if its from a movie, trying to rerecord the voices in a room with special acoustics (like a big echoing metal room) never turns out quite the same
