Dualhead Onboard graphics question

Hi,

do you know if onboard intel graphics card on mainboards where DVI and VGA connector is available, can be configured to output to both (dualhead) for dual monitor desktop use?

I thought all of the newer i series boards could do dual head out?

Seems that the "core i" series with Intel HD graphics are capable of dual display but as I recall you need to read up on individual motherboards. I remember at least one person complaining that an ECS motherboard was wired in such a way that you could only dual out VGA+DVI or VGA+HDMI and not DVI+HDMI.
