DualBoot Option for Windows Me and Windows98 (Is it possible ? and How?)

Hey Guys,

I need your help !! I want to create a multiboot feature in my hard drive. I know its possible to do it w/ Windows2000 and Windows98 and it will be setup automatically. Each time you boot up, menu will pop up asking you which OS you want to load (Win2k or Win98).

I know it is also possible to do this w/ WinMe and Win98 if I install it on different partitions by modifying the msdos.sys file?

I would install the WinMe on my C drive and the Win98 on my D drive. How do I modify the msdos.sys to allow for the "menu" to pop up asking me which OS (WinMe and Win98) to choose.

I want to make this setup (even though it sounds ridiculous) because this Win98 is chinese and the WinMe is English.

If the solution is not to modify the msdos.sys file. Then what is the solution? Please let me know ASAP

You'll prolly need to use something like PartitionMagic's Boot manager

Yup.. separate partitions, and a goot boot manager and it will allow it for ya..

If you are NOT running Win2000, Partition Magic 4.0 will allow this (easily).

Do a search on the "Hot Deals" forum for "Partition Magic" - it's currently only $11.50 plus s&h for the older version (and is upgradeable from Powerquest for $29.95 to use for Win2K for Ver 6.0).
