Dual webcam recording?

Hello,
i am going install a carputer in my car and wondering if can setup a dual webcam for front and rear camera. which software support multi cam recording?

If you use two completely different web cams (i.e. different brands with different internal chipsets) and run each camera's own software on the computer you can have both cameras recording at the same time. Be aware that USB webcams take up a lot of the bandwidth available to USB so you'll either have to put the two cameras on separate USB root hubs (may not be possible with a laptop), or use firewire cameras that won't have the bandwidth issue.
