Dual vs Single Channel Memory on AM2 and DD2 533 vs 667 vs 800

I origionally posted part of this in GH but recieved less than expected help... except for MDE who brought up some good points 🙂

Does anyone here have any experiance with this? If if possibly, coule someone do me a HUGE favor, fire up two cores of F@H on your box and post the times for the same until using single or dual channel?

Also, would there be any performance difference with folding in getting 533, 667, or 800? I've seen a review (read the folding couple pages) on how memory timing and speeds affects mem bandwidth and performance.

I will be running two instances of folding on these machines.

I'm planning on building a couple of new folding machine with the new processor price drops. To save on money I would like to buy two dual channel kits and then split the kits between the systems. How drastically will this change the perfomance?
