Hi all,
Haven't been around for quite some time here but problems arise and i'm unable to find a knowledgeable person to ask this:
How can i use two different cards in the same system? I have a GTX460 and want to buy and FX1800 in the near future since i mostly spend time in huge cad and max scenes but ocasionally knock some heads off in games
The REAL question is: What am I supposed to do if I want to play a game on the GTX and work CAD on the Quadro without phisically taking one board out and in with the other? I don't think magic happens just by switching between dvi ports
Logic sais that the unused board will still load and thus consume more energy pointlessly. I hope I made things as clear as possible, I'm not sure how else i can explain this.
Thanks.
