Dual SSD Caching. Is it possible?

I wanted to know if SSD caching can be done more than once per system, of course you'd need another SSD.
Anyone?

Multiple levels of caching or just using two drives? You could put them in a RAID0 and use that for the cache, if the system supports it.

Have you tried setting it up on the Intel Rapid Storage Technology console ?
From what I can see, the console manages multiple drives..
I don't have a 2nd SSD to check it for you though..

Have you tried contacting Intel, or posing your question on an Intel forum ?

I had the idea of using a Gigabyte Z68 board with an onboard mSTA 20gb SSD that would cache a 120gb OS SSD and then use a 2tb RAID setup for storage. I did think that the SRT setup was meant to be used with a mechanical HD, but I don't see why it wouldn't work to use an SSD instead.

SRT is meant to use RAID (in this case a RAID0) using a SSD for caching with a HDD assuming you meet all the hardware requirements.
I just learned from another site (thanks to Google) that Intel only allows one SDD per system caching using RAID0.
To do what I wanted to do I'd need 4 HDD's or RAID5, that very much rules out my option. :-(

It might work, but it would probably be slower than an SSD alone, unless the cache drive was substantially faster than main drive.
