Dual / Single channel memory question

Currently I have 2 x 1024MB OCZ DDR2-800 Memory installed in dual channel configuration.
I happen to have another (cheap) 512MB DDR2-667 stick available, and was thinking of putting it next to my OCZ sticks.
The P5B manual says: When uneven amount of RAM in both memory banks, only the lowest amount will be used for dual channel operations.
-> Does this mean that in my particular case I will have 2x1GB dual channel mem and 512MB single channel mem? Or will it just be 2,5GB single channel mem? And if the latter, would it be a good idea to put in the extra 512MB or better to leave the dual channel configuration as it is?
