dual screen

I know sc is a very old game, but I still play it. My objectives are to do 2x 19" ws lcd's one with dvi and one with vga on my 6600GT. Has anyone accomplished this with starcraft? I'd really like to do work and play at the sametime without alt tabbing.

I did it with a 17" and a 19" linked, but it wasnt all that great. BTW I have a 6800ultra and it runs flawelessly, so ur 6600gt should also.

Unless all you are doing is reading on the other screen then it doesnt make any sense to game with 2 monitors. Say for instance you are using aim on your second monitor and playing sc on your first, every time you want to respond to a message starcraft will automatically minimize when you click off of the first screen.

There was absolutely no noticeable performance impact. It ran just as good, but i mean its starcraft. It would run great with 2 monitors on ur system.

That can be worked around, IIRC.
