Got a 42" LED and a 22" LED. I would like to play a computer game on the 42" screen while having the online strategy guide on my main computer monitor here (22"). Any chance that would be possible with a single computer or no?

Thanks :)

dual display on driver setting. This is fairly vanilla setup, no reason why it should not work.

driver setting hmmm, well I'll tinker with it some tonight, but I'm afraid to mess up things.

Also is this technically in the right forum? Ah well, guess it doesn't matter now :x

you can always revert to old setting.

Also I should have mentioned the computer is connected with HDMI.

Should I try and configure this in ATI's catalyst control center or download some other program to manage displays? Maybe just use something built into Windows 7?

this is pretty straight foreward, you simply need to "extend" your desktop to your 2nd monitor or TV and then set the TV to the "default monitor" - some games use this flag and only display on it. you can get around it playing in "windowed mode" however that can cause issues.

once that is done your computer should see 2 independent displays. simply open a browser on one and game on the other

its not really any different then running a dual monitor computer setup

you dont need hydraview you can do all this right from CCC

Having a lot of problems with catalyst control center. Had duplicate screens working fine for a while, out of accident. Now for some reason if I go to Catalyst control center and choose duplicate, it works for 30-60 seconds or so, then my monitor and TV turn black for a second, then it just stops displaying everything on my TV, and I have my usual display on my monitor. No reason to be doing this :/ - Also sometimes if I open up a browser it will trigger it to do the same thing (where both displays blink and TV stops displaying) I hate these kinds of application problems. It shouldn't be so hard just to run a duplicate of my PC screen on my TV. Also when duplicate works successfully (for about 10 seconds at a time) I get bars on the left and right of my TV, so it's resized i guess.

I'm thinking maybe there's supposed to be one of those boxes that says something like "Is this the display configuration you want? Select yes or it will revert back to what it was after 30 seconds", but that box is nowhere to be found.
