Hello:
I need to supply 11A and ~24v to a peltier. If I buy two 185watt, +12v@6A power supplies and do the paperclip trick (no motherboard), and then take one yellow (+12v) wire from each psu and wire them together, and do the same for the black (neg) wires, and hook it up to the peltier, will that be providing 24v@12A? Or doesn't electricity work in such a simple equation?

nope, won't work you'll only get 24 volts at 6 amperes. also you would have to connect them in series.
