Dual Processor Ideals........Suggestions????

I may have the money to go to a dual cpu platform at the end of july or sometime in aug.
I was thinking about a Dual P3 1ghz on a VP6 with 1 gig of PC133 Crucial CAS 2 ram

will there be a cheap dual AMD setup out by that time? as in cheap I mean around the same price as what I listed above.

also how much faster will this setup be than my Classic 800mhz Athlon with 256megs of Micron running Windows 2000?

I know its like 460+ watts for the AMD setups, but how many would I need for the dual P3? running what is in my Athlon rig (see system rigs) plus another 30 gig hard drive, and a radeon video card
I have a Antec 300 and I dont think it will cut it

go with the asus cuv4x-dls or just cuv4x-ls, with two 1ghz pIII combbermineT.

I ran my asus p2b-ds with two 550mhz pIII with two scsi 10000rpms and two ide 7500rpms and a scsi plexwriter and a scsi ultraplex, net card, heavy soundcard, 3 chassis fans, two hs fans, old voodoo addon card. on a 200w psu... went just fine...

dual in w2k is much faster... it's a great feeling
