Dual Power System 2

I saw this feature when reading the specs of some new Gigabyte motherboards. Someone told me in the Motherboard Forums under the Official Gigabyte 8KNXP/Ultra (875P) Thread (reply right after mine(Link19) on 06/12/2003 at 11:50 AM) that the Dual Power System 2 makes the board more stable. Does anyone know how much more stable it makes Gigabyte motherboards and if it is really worth having? I am going to be using a very good Antec True550 550 watt power supply with my Gigabyte motherboard. I heard that the Antec True Power PSUs provide the most reliability and stability for desktop PC systems. So would having this PSU make the Dual Power System 2 unnecessary?

Are there any other motherboard manufacturers that use Dual Power System 2 in their motherboards? I would assume no, because it said it was Gigabyte patented technology on their website.
