I posted the other day, but I still haven't found the solution. Here is the story. I use a dual-port Intel NIC in my server. The DSL goes into one port and the other port is connected to the hub. It has W2K server on it. Anyway, I never use that computer and it has been working perfect for month and then about Thursday the internet port stopped working. If I double click on the port it says that it is sending, but not receiving. OK, the next night I swap the NIC with an idntical one and it starts working again. I didn't change anything else. Then last night it stopped again. This time I changed the settings on each port so they could swap. The internet works now coming into that port, but the other port is not working or talking to the hub. What could cause the port to stop working like that. I did notice that my computer started running pretty warm about a day before it went goofy so I removed the side of the case. Also, the port that isn't working is the port closest to the open case. My SCSI card is right above the NIC and the cable runs along side of the NIC. Could that be anything? I welcome any suggestions. Thanks
