no. The only way to go dual P4 is to go Xeon. I wish that they would make some dual P4 stuff, but they dont figure the market is big enough, at least it wasnt really with the P3 even though I loved mine (damn RAM bottlenecking me....). I doubt there will be with all the different new chips on the horizon.
If you are going to go dual now, the best setup will be a dual Athlon MP/XP setup. The advantages will show in multitasking in multicpu enabled OSs, like windows XP, and in cpu intensive programs that windows can dedicate every oucne of juice to from one cpu while running the os on the other cpu... and it seems to do a good job at managing that. Also, a lot of apps like Photoshop and Premeire also utilize multithreading, and you can see the performance gains there, however, there is no SSE2 on the athlon architecture which those programs also utilize. Either way, they are going to be hella fast, and if you can afford to invest in a speedy dual athlon setup, then go for it... I was going to, but decided my money could be spent on other things....
If you have any questions ask...I have been looking at some of the more recent dual stuff myself so i might be able to help you choose if you decide to go that route.
EDIT : also, no reason to be afraid to go AMD.... if you can shell out the bux, dare I say that you will see the performance difference...the only thing scary about athlons is that they run hotter, and if you aren't a complete mechanical dummy like my friend scott nellis, then you should never have a problem getting a heatsink and fan on your processor to cool it down, cuz thats pretty much all it takes.
