I have been handed down two P3 800/133 chips and figured I would try to put them to use. I was wondering what people suggest for such an old chip. I have come across some good reviews for the Abit VP6. I am open to suggestions.

Sorry if this is the wrong form in advance.

the VP6 is fairly popular for dual P3's.. I will recommend anything from MSI for dual CPU setups.. as with Gigabyte.. never heard a bad thing about either of their dual boards. I love my MSI dual MPX board, it runs fantastic.

I use a Iwill DVD266u-RN I wouldnt suggest using it though, it is pretty stable but the DDR doesnt give you much of an advantage and isnt quite as stable as the other dual P3 boards. Plus its onboard Lan, and Audio both don't work, one is a driver problem, the other I am not sure what is causing it.

i had the VP6 and highly recommend it... only thing was only one voltage control for both processors (not one control each, one for both).

Other than that, great options, 1Mhz bus increments, RAID built in, everything i needed back then
