Something is wrong. I have a Dual P3-1000 mhz system running Windows 2k, and I'm only getting 2.69 Mkeys/s even though the system sees both chips.
Can someone offer me some assistance? A friend's Dual P3-700mhz gets about 3.86 Mkeys/s, which correctly reflects the SMP system.
EDIT: I should add that 2.69Mkey/s is what I got on a single cpu. And this:
[Oct 30 06:13:36 UTC] Automatic processor detection found 2 processors.
[Oct 30 06:13:36 UTC] Loading crunchers with work...
[Oct 30 06:13:36 UTC] Automatic processor type detection found
an Intel Pentium III processor.
[Oct 30 06:13:36 UTC] RC5: using core #2 (RG class 6).
What's that "using core #2" thing? It can't be using only one CPU because both CPUs are shown at 100% in Win2K's task manager.
