Dual P2 400's - Does stepping matter on P2's?

I thought about picking up a dual CPU board to use with a coupl of P2 400's that I currently have.

Do different steppings matter for the P2?

Steppings ALWAYS matter, although not to the extent that it did a few years ago. Intel supports mixed stepping dual processing, but you have to check the specification update regarding which steppings you are allowed to mix.
