Hello,

I have been running Seti for quite a while now on this XP2200 system. Now what I am trying to find out is how could I run two copies of Seti with these Dual P III 1 GhZ that I am picking up tonight.

WOuld I run two seperate directories or what?

THanks

Just use seti driver an tell it to use 2 processes. I've also found that setting affinity increases WU / day with MP systems.

In Windows, use SetiDriver just as Wiz says, unless you want to run the CLI as a service. In that case, you'll need the two separate clients in two separate folders approach. If you're using Linux, I believe you are limited to the two clients / two folders method, because Linux doesn't have a SetiDriver-like program.

Go here and follow instructions for the CLI and Seti Driver.
Then "tell it to use 2 processes. I've also found that setting affinity increases WU / day with MP systems"

Wow that's nice! A 4 hour average per WU on a PIII rig is great - I would be interested to know how it averages after a couple days worth of units.
