Im am going to be building a new pc in about 3 months and was wondering if dual processors are really worth the extra money?
What mobo should I use etc..... ;)

Well, it all depends on what you're going to do with the machine. If you surf, play games, office programs, then they are not necessary. However, if you are working with CAD, large pictures, or encode movies of some sort, then they'll be a dream come true for you.

List the things you are going to do with this machine. Then we can give you a more straight forward answer.

Either way, know this:

Dual processor motherboards are, in general, extremly stable. Usually less overclock-able than single processor motherboards.

It's a two way street though - either it works well, or it screws up everything.

Eg - either it's 100% stable or 10% stable.. very rarely is there an inbetween.
