I'm starting to see more and more "non-server" boards w/ two onboard NICs. I'm just curious of anyone uses the second nic. I don't think many people are buying a new "DFI N4 ultra like" boards for to setup servers.
Typically, one is used for internet and the other is used for a local network. It makes it very easy to transfer data from other computers. This is really only practical for users with more than one computer at home (for the typical user anyway). That's why I just have one
I don't use both, but I was having problems with the nF4 NIC after I upgraded to the 6.66 drivers, so I used the second NIC while I installed the drivers on the CD that came with my DFI LANParty.
