The PC has a DVI and D-Sub connector. The current monitor is plugged into the d-sub and works fine. I want to plug in a 2nd monitor on the DVI port (with D-Sub to DVI adapter). When I do this, I get no signal.

I don't even see any options in the nvidia software nor the desktop settings screen.

Is it not capable of running dual monitors or do I need to do something to get it to work this way?

Turn off the system and plug the second monitor in. Start the system and go into the display properties. If you still don't see any options for dual monitors then the motherboard doesn't support it.

The 6150 does support dual monitors, provided one is analog and one is digital. Using an adapter won't work.
