Dual Monitors with GA-H55M-S2H LGA 1156 Intel H55

I'm looking at buying a new machine for work since I'm still using a P4 and it is definitely showing its age.

My question is that I use 2 monitors at work and the new machine I'm going to build was using one of the new core i3 or core i5 CPUs and the GIGABYTE GA-H55M-S2H LGA 1156 Intel H55 motherboard. Can I run dual monitors with the integrated graphics? Or do I need to get a discrete GPU?

I am awaiting answers on this mattter as well. I was disappointed that no review I've read tested this advertised feature. (and 2560x1600)

I'm betting yes, based on this note of Gigabyte's website:
(Note 4) You can use only one of the onboard digital graphics ports (e.g. DisplayPort, HDMI, and DVI-D) for output when in the BIOS Setup program or when during the POST screens.

My take on that is that only one monitor will work during boot, else wise each connected monitor will work. Not sure which it defaults to during boot.
 
I just read the mobo manual, and two monitors will be no problem for OS operations. The boot display may not show up on both displays of some combination of HDMI and dvi/dsub attached monitors.
This is explained in the manual in good detail.
It looks like the Dsub output will not work if your second monitor needs a dsub to dvi adapter.
 
HDMI is limited to 1920x1080, so for dual high-resolution displays consider the UD2H model with DP instead. When both DVD-D and HDMI are connected to powered-on displays, the post/BIOS is on the latter -which is silly since most suitable and likely to be used for a TV as secondary.
