Does anyone know if this is possible? I was thinking about hooking up two CRT's to this card if I were to buy it. Is there a splitter for this purpose? Thanks in advance.

I have the same card... I haven't really looked into doing this but I've heard that for a 9700 AIW radeon it is possible, except the crappy thing is the 2nd display has to be an HDTV or something...

I could be wrong though

Since it has one DVI and one S-Video connector, you could buy a 2nd screen with an S-Video connector. Don't know about CRT screens but there are several LCD screens available with S-Video, they are not among the cheapest though. Another alternative solution could be to buy a separate PCI graphics card and use that in combination with the AIW 9700 Pro. I have heard others bring up this solution, but don't ask me for details on how it works, have no clue...

yeah a 2nd pci card can provide dual monitor support to practically all agp cards.

the S-video thing is interesting

that purple dongle thing that came with the AIW 9700 pro is the device you have to use to hook up a 2md (HDTV) display I think

dual monitors with ATI AIW 9700 pro
so that you can have a double-wide screen area ? if so i think you'll have to use a PCI card with it .
the extra outputs that come on the card and the dongle are for video out to a T.V. type apperatice or video in from a camera\vcr type device.
i haver heard that it's best to use cards of the same type (ATI or nvidia) to minimize driver problems.
good luck
