yes I believe both monitors can be used at the same time you'll need a dvi to vga adapter though if you want to use two crts.

hmmm. i wonder if the card starts chuggin when u use 2 outputs. if it does then i'd rather just use a pci video card instead. anyone have any experience with it?

I have a Gainward GeForce 4 4400 with a VGA and DVI. I have ran it dual monitor and it didn't seem to slow anything down, but it only displayed the games I play on one monitor. I didn't research it too much since I was actually using a friends monitor, I just sit it up for fun for a little while.
Hope this helps.

Yes, dual monitor works fine. It won't be any noticable slowdown if that's what you're asking. If you decide to use a PCI video card, that would probably be much slower than using the second output from the Geforce 4 card.

SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

i'm gonna use it for all those photo/macromedia apps. so having a dual monitor where i can put all the code in one monitor and see the results on the other will REALLY help out.

thanx 4 all the replies guyz! :D

ultramon is really awesome. i was using it when i had a dual monitor setup. i had to give the pci vid card to my brother so he could play some games. so i'm back to one. i miss the dual monitor setup though.

Yes, it's 30 day trialware. But it's only $25. I thought it was definately worth it for it's flexability. :)

nView (nVidi'a software for supporting multiple displays) is getting better and better. There's only a few things that it CANNOT do in comparison to UltraMon. But there are free tools like RefreshLock that can fill in any gaps.

I've been using my GF2MV TwinView for a year or more now, and a 2-card solution at work for long. I AIN"T GOING BACK TO ONE SCREEN! :p
