dual monitors on a ti4200...fullscreen video issue

if i open windows media player and play a video file, it'll play fine in windowed mode on either monitor (using dualview mode). if i fullscreen it from the primary monitor it fills the primary. but if i fullscreen from the secondary monitor, the video fullscreens on the primary monitor, not the secondary. most annoying. have fiddled with drivers to no avail. before my reinstall of xp, it acted normally.

how to fix, any ideas?

NVidia drivers require you to choose which screen the fullscreen overlay goes to. The control is buried deeply somewhere in Display Properties - Advanced - NVidia.

bah...i could've sworn that before the fullscreen went to whichever monitor the wmp window was on at that moment. oh well
