Dual Monitors off Radeon 9800pro + WinFast TV2000 Deluxe

I'm thinking about running Dual monitors so I can game on one screen and chat on another or, watch tv on one screen and chat on another. There are three possible configurations I'm considering:

1) ATI 9800 AIW + another ATI PCI card. This cinfiguration is problematic unless you roll back your drivers, which I would not want to do in the interest of gaming performance. How badly you suffer due to this I do not know.

2) ATI 9800 pro + another ATI PCI card + WinFast TV2000. I have no idea how well this would work or if its a smart idea. I know its a little costlier than number 3 which is...

3) ATI 9800 pro + WinFast TV2000. Would I suffer a performance hit in game when I have my other screen up for chatting?

Thanks for you input guys. Sorry if this is a repost, I searched for "dual monitors" and didn't find a exact match.

1) It's doable but you won't really be able to chat while playing a game unless that game runs minimized like Diablo 2.
2) You only need 9800 Pro and Winfast TV2000. You can connect 2 monitors to 9800 Pro. Again, you won't be able to chat and do other things unless the game runs minimized.
3) Doable but like I said, it won't really work well unless game runs minimized. You don't really suffer in games much running dual display.

If anyone could tell me exactly how much I would suffer, that would be great. I suppose new driver revisions have minimized the impact...

You won't notice it.

I didnt take that chance when I designed my setup. Always kept primary video card unloaded. When you want to do an intesnive task like a visualizer on your secondary when youre playing a game and its all on the same card.... your frame rates just die....

I'd say radeon x800 something with a 9000 pci if you can find one. 9200's are a major waste of money IMHO but the 9000 will still support two monitors right there...

I run one on my 9800aiw and 2 on my 9000

yes I know but it's pain in the butt.

I dont have a radeon I use a BFG 5900nu...but I do run dual head.
Myself I cannot see ANY difference running my games on one monitor or both.
Id hope the same would hold true for the radeon.
