Repost from tech support forum:

I plugged the first lcd into the primary dvi. Plugged the second lcd into the second one. I only get images on the first one. I went to settings and selected extend desktop to secondary monitor. Nothing happened. So I restarted my comp. Now I have no image on either. I played around with random combinations, switchin the DVI cables from primary to seconday and got the image back once. Then when I tinkered again I lost both images and now they wont come back =(. Need help plz.

Btw, im using 2x VX2025 and an X1800XT.

I dunno. I switch by using XP Display properties and do not use
Castalyst Crapout Center for switching because for some reason
CCC hates me (Though I do need it for my HDTV tuner so it's there)

Do both monitors show up in Display Settings?

Boot with both monitors on and go to Display settings.

Try setting "extend" and "Make primary" checkboxes for the non-functioning
display. If you get picture sometimes you need to go back to the other monitor
and uncheck "extend" to get all windows elements to migrate to the other
monitor.

I have 27in widescreen LCD on VGA connector as secondary (#2) and 19in LCD
on DVI (#1) as primary. This is on an old 9600XT with latest Catalyst drivers.

I just use regular XP to switch and avoid CCC.
(Tried switch with CCC and it doesn't seem to work or I am too stupid for ATI
to be able to figure out their stupid way of doing it.)

Nm I got it working. It appears others have had similar problems with the vx2025wm's dvi. All I did was put it on analog mode and then switch back to dvi and both monitors work now o_o but one looks dimmer >=(
