My 24" Soyo died the other day, and Soyo Warranty is taking their sweet ass time getting it back to me, so I thought in the meantime I'd buy another 24" monitor, and then use them in tandem when the Soyo comes back.

I thought it'd look so freaking awesome if I had wall mounted over the one sitting on my desk. Is this possible?

Also, anybody got a recommendation for 24" PVA under $400? I heard Westy had one.

Its possible to do that in linux, not sure about windows, all depends on what video card and the drivers.
Some only allow left/right placement, some allow above/below.

I'll be using two Sapphire HD3870s in Crossfire, probably in Vista 64 Ultimate.

Yep, definitely doable in xp. Havent tried in vista personally but i see no reason why it hsouldnt. In xp just go into display settings, drag one monitor from the side of the other to the top of the other (or bottom or whatever). Should be nice and easy :)

Really? You've done this before?

Frankly, that's exactly what I was thinking about.

yes, just open up the display manager and drag the icon to above the other icon.

Simpler than you'd expect.

edit: maybe i should read all of the posts in the thread first, i was beaten to the punch.
