Dual monitors in DOS.

wow....what a wierd question ,heh.

I would love to hear the responses to this....I would have never thought of trying this.

Oh, so you mean same image on both monitors?

if you have a video card with dual outputs it should default to mirroring the primary display...

ya, the simplest one. same image both monitors.

so what's a good inexpensive card i can use. all analog outputs.

Some monitors allow you to connect to one card in series with multiple monitors like in a classroom situation. I saw an Eizo monitor you could do this with and it had a 75ohm load you could switch in and out to terminate the last monitor in the string.

I've seen a Radeon 7000 dual head card show the same thing on both displays when POSTing and while loading DOS. Not too bad display (pretty crisp), and cheap, too :)

My GF2MX does NOT show both images in DOS. It never has (been using it since the days of 1x.xx drivers).

However, the Radeon VE in my PC at work shows both screens with the same image (until WinXP or Win98 completely boots).
