Dual Monitors in DOS? Anyone done this before?

I need to run 2 cloned monitors each using different refresh rates in DOS 6.22.

I've read that the Matrox G450 can do this...?

If they didn't need different refresh rates I think pretty much any dual-head card would do. In dos aren't they probably going to run at 60hz anyways?

This is for an eye testing program and needs to run at 120Hz on monitor #1. Doesn't really matter what monitor #2 is running at, but its an LCD and maxes out at 75Hz.

I tried that, it doesn't work in a WinXP DOS box.

I think he's actualy refering to the program named DOS box. It's a program that runs in windows, that fully emulates a DOS machine, not the same thing as the command console in windows xp.

Yep, that's what I was referring to. Here's the link.

i used to run dual monitors in dos back when autocad was still for dos. the monitors will run any refresh rate a program tells them to as long as they support it.

That does look promising, I'll give it a try tomorrow.

It'll do what you want it to if you're doing what I think you're trying to do 😉

I'm really not, but that is awsome. Thanks!
