Dual monitors - force apps to open on primary?

Hi:
Does anyone know how to force apps to only open on the primary monitor under W2K using two video cards & two monitors? Right now, if I've been using an app on the secondary monitor and close it, it remembers and opens there next time I use it, which messes me up when I connect with pcanywhere & can only see the primary.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bobby

NVidia?

i could help ya with Nvidia...in the nview desktop manager, under the "windows" tab, check the box labeled "prevent windows from opening off screen"

i encountered the same problem with remote desktop and this solved it.

hope this helps...sorry I'm not sure about ATI

Thanks, no it's not nVidea, I have been able to do it with nVidea before. These are just two generic cards, one built on motherboard, the other an SiS. It's a basic office setup, but I do use pcanywhere on a regular basis.

That software looks cool, but I'd really like to see if there's a registry setting since if I can get it to work I'll be doing it to a few other machines & I'd rather not spend $40 a pop. I'll keep it in mind though, it does look like it's got everything I'd need. Thanks!
