Dual monitors and gaming

I set up dual monitors and had every thing working fine. I would start a game and it came up on one monitor like it should with the other monitor staying with whatever it had on the screen.

My problem is that when I was playing the game (BF2), and I would move my mouse quickly across the screen, it would go onto the 2nd monitor. This obviously is not a good thing, as it made it quite difficult to aim when you cannot find your crossairs because you mouse pointer is moving around the 2nd monitor.

So my question is, can you "lock" the monitor where the mouse will not leave that screen whne playing a game? Or is it already supposed to be "locked" on the game screen?

It depends on the game. Some games will keep the mouse on the primary monitor, others won't. Only solution I've found is to disable the secondary monitor while gaming.

I do this all the time with my 2 2001FP's. Just disable the second monitor until you finish playing.
