Dual monitor's and driver question's >>HELP !!

This is my problem, when ever i install any detonator driver's over 8.0, my second monitor will start up but stay's on the initilization screen and can't get to it, everything in display properties is ok , show's 2 monitor's and no yellow error's, and i can drag the second monitor around on the set-up page but can't stretch desktop.

Any ideas ??

AGP vid card is CL GF2
PCI card is a Viper 770 TNT2

if i run driver's under 7.58(i think) everything is fine, anything above and ...crap 😛
