dual monitor

I was tryng to hook up a dual monitor setup for my 9700Pro. I have Viewsonic PF790 which is awesome! and my old Sony 17SF is looking dull and washed out. What would be a good monitor to pair up woth my Viewsonic?

Any suggestions. I can fit a 19" if I got a good deal on a nice one. 17" is the lowest I'll go. NO LCD please as I cannot afford it.
