I have a Emachines M5305 that has S-Video. Is there away to use it for dual monitoring with a TV?
Thanks,

it entirely depends on what the chipset supports. are you refferring to integrated in the motherboard of the computer or an expansion card in an agp/pci slot? if it's on the motherboard check whatever documentation that came with your comp. and by dual monitor, do you mean cloning the same image to both screen s or do you mean having an extended desktop? if you want two different things displayed you'll have to have dual RAMDACS

... and be aware that the signal bandwidth on SVideo is 20 times lower than on your primary monitor, and that TV tubes have huge dot pitches. Image quality is not what you probably expect.
