I've been successfully using a 2 monitor configuration with the ATI 9800 Pro for months. I changed my 19" CRT for a 20" Dell 2005FPW wide screen LCD. In doing so, the 17" CRT I use as a 2nd monitor distorted (squished down with black bars on top). I tried changing this in the ATI software, and never got the ratio correct. I finally did a manual adjustment using the monitors front buttons to expand the display.

However, the screen looks strange (and looked strange from the time the wide screen LCD was added). It's got a blueish tint, and it seems to vibrate (almost imperceptively), which leaves it looking fuzzy. My theory is that the horizontal and vertical refresh rates for the wide screen (being different) are adversely affecting the non-wide screen CRT.

The ATI software has a screen that allows you to affect the refresh synch independently, but all it has are two buttons with two states each: a plus sign and a minus sign. I have no idea what they do, but no combination or different setting there makes any change on the 17".

Has anyone seen this before?
