Im in a situation right now....I currently have an ATI AIW 8500DV in my system. I like it a lot. Im currently running it on a 19 in Sylvania F97. I watch TV on screen while doing work a lot of the time, as well as play games like Madden 02, Unreal Tournament, and several others.
I also have a Viewsonic 17 in E771 that I'd like to use. I find that I run out of screen room sometimes. The 8500 doesn't support two monitors at one time (though it can display on both analog and digital monitors). What I would like, in a prefect world, is to have a really good video card that can display on two monitors, as well as a tv tuner and a way to input video/audio as well as output it. What are my options? I know the ATI radeon 8500 supports two monitors, but Id have to get a separate TV tuner card, one with input type stuff.
Has anyone out there done this yet? Im not stuck with ATI, though I do like the cards. Any suggestions would help. Thanks a lot

If your pleased with the features of the AIW Radeon 8500DV as it is and you just want basic multi-monitor support, why not simply purchase a PCI graphics card and use that to drive the secondary monitor?

It would be more cost effective then replacing the video card, and buying a TV-Tuner, and that way you'd be able to keep the unmatched feature set that the AIW offers.
