i have a 9700 pro running through 19" crts, one through vga and one through dvi.

what i'm wondering is if it is possible to stretch a wmp window (ex watching a dvd) across both monitors. right now, the video only appears on the half of the monitor where the majority of the video screen is, and i can only fullscreen it to one monitor....

i think it might be a limitation of the overlay or of directdraw but i'm not sure.

any ideas? i want my 30" x 11" screen!

Nope. Video overlays are a hardware thing, always confined to one primary display surface.

Not necessarily. For instance, the Matrox G450 series (and perhaps other higher end) support dual hardware overlays and can span video. :)
