Dual-monitor video cards?

Trying to find out who makes dual-monitor cards worth looking at. Doesn't matter if it is DVI or analog. Would like the cards to be high quality.

If you don't need gaming perfomrance then Matrox has the best dual monitor implementation.
ATi's HydraVision is also very good.
For a basic no frills dual monitor implementation, then nVidia's TwinView isnt bad.

Maybe not gaming performance, but how about video editing (NLVE/NLE)? Does that require a lot of performance?

For NLE (nonlinear editing) I'd suggest the Matrox G450 or G550. I have a G450 pushing two 17" monitors on my editing workstation.

yep, the Matrox G450 looks like the thing to go with.

I work in a corporation that creates software for television and every PC here has a G450 installed as the display video card. (we use Matrox Digisuite LE and RT2500 for the graphic manipulation/insertion)
