anyone have any suggestions? i've been trying ultramon.. whihc is nice... but gotta pay for it (not sure if it's worth it right now.. only having the taskbar and multiple wallpapers is nice.

but is there anything else out there? I'm having problems w/ programs... mainly trillian/aim. new windows from ppl i don't talk to often open in the primary display.. if i move them, it remembers.... a minor issue. but when i set away messages w/ trillian, it always pops up in the primary (the message box). also when i detach windows in the away container, it pops it in the primary.

also, winamp (2.x) when i show the playlist (if hidden), or put any part of winamp into windowshade mode, it will jump back to primary.

Any ideas, suggestions? appriciate it.

If you have an ATI card or two, try their Hydravision software. For Nvidia, they've got some NView stuff, not sure if it's in the drivers or if it's a separate download (ATI's Hydravision is available separately).
 
i should add.. main is geforce2gts.. secondary is matrox millenium ii 🙂

i tried using nview, it doesn't seem to work exactly. winamp and trillian/aim are the only things that just don't seem to want to stay over there.

any other ideas?
