Dual monitor setup

I bought an ASUS V7100/2vid with my new computer, it was advertised to display independent displays on two vga monitors, but I was skeptical because you need two ram dacs, so now I have two PCI cards I can put into the system for dual monitor, which would work better under W2k, Ati Rage pro turbo 8meg, or a Creative RivaTnt 16meg? Can two Nvidia cards share the same IRQ?

Since I assume you will only be using this card for 2D images, I would say use the ATI card. I have a bunch of these cards here at school (admittedly AGP, but there's not that much difference)and they all have pretty good 2D quality. In general ATI has better 2D quality, while nVidia will get you better 3D scores.
