Hey guy I currently use a 1920x1200 monitor and I have a 1920x1080 monitor in the garage. Is it possible to have a dual monitor setup with these 2 monitors?

I like to game only on the 1920x1200 monitor, while using the other monitor for we surfing and other stuff.

What are the pros and cons of this type of setup?

Yes, and it is easy to do in Windows. Plug the other monitor in, go into properties and tell it that you want to extend the desktop, set it to what ever resolution you want, and you are gold.
There is very few cons to this sort of setup really. Some games seems to have problems detecting the right resolution, but most modern games should be fine. Oh, and to use the other monitor you will have to be in window mode in your game, otherwise the game will capture the mouse or you can alt-tab out.

Pros, you get much more screen real estate.

Cons, assuming your 19x12 monitor is an IPS panel, you'll really see how bad TN panels are.
