dual monitor setup

I want to setup dual monitor and have been doing some research. I was hoping my motherboard did it (but it doesnt). Here is the MB I am using:

ASUS M2NPV-VM Socket AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6150

I have a 19' LCD and a 17' CRT. Dual monitor wont be for hard core gaming. So from what i have read, all i need to do is add a second video card and install both. I know hoe to do dual monitors using my laptop but am now going to do it from my PC.

So any suggestions on a low-budget video card ( what should I be looking for when using high resolution on the LCD)? Is it just a matter of installing a second video card?

What monitor are you using, and are you going to get another one of the same? Does the monitor support DVI connections? More information please.

You could try the ASUS GeForce 6200TC on for size.

I stated the monitors. but again I have a new AOC LCD that has multiple outlets but I plan on using the DVI. The second is an older basic CRT 17'. CRT does not support DVI. Thanks

the motherboard in your first post should work just fine- I'm pretty sure you don't need a new video card. that MB has both a VGA and DVI connection... hook the DVI up to the LCD, and the VGA up to your CRT.

As long as your LCD can take a digital input via DVI then you are already good to go for dual monitor.

If however your LCD only takes an analog VGA input then you will need another video card.
