So I'm new to MacBooks. I'm trying to figure out if there is a way for me to plug in less cables into my mac whenever I sit down at my desk. I've got dual monitors, so I'm at 4 cables: HDMI (converts to DVI for Monitor 1), USB, thunderbolt (converts to DVI for Monitor 2), and power
I had an HP before with a docking station, and that made life a lot easier. I know the thunderbolt display can do many of those, but I'm not interested in that solution.
I like this idea, but the reviews seem pretty poor: http://www.amazon.com/Henge-Docks-15...ustomerReviews
I've also looked at the USB 3.0 type docking stations with built in video cards, but have found their performance to alway be lacking. Video stutters, dragging windows monitor to minitor induces freezing or other weird behavior, etc.
Any other suggestions?
